Diabetes-Cardiorenal-Metabolic medicine in UK primary care. Six-month hybrid programme covering type 2 diabetes, ASCVD, heart failure, CKD with proteinuria, dyslipidaemia, hypertension and MASLD.

Hormone optimisation across the perimenopausal, postmenopausal and andropausal patient under BMS and BSSM frameworks. Six-month hybrid programme.

Acumen Masterclasses
Paid postgraduate masterclasses delivered by Professor Varma and invited specialist faculty.
The Acumen Academy masterclass programme runs throughout the year with topics drawn from cardiometabolic, hormonal, longevity, MRCGP-curriculum and adjacent UK primary care areas. Sessions are RCGP-applicable for CPD and certificates are issued post-event.

Acumen Academy is led by Professor Rajesh Varma — Professor of Primary Care, NICE Guideline Committee member, Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge, and a practising GP Partner and GP Trainer in Hertfordshire — with co-founder Professor Tham Nimal-Raj contributing institutional and international academic depth as Chancellor of New Vision University UK Campus and Founder/Chair of Essex Medical Society. Each Diploma cohort is supported by invited specialist clinicians selected for current clinical and academic standing in the relevant disease cluster.
