Herts Heart Failure Masterclass for Primary Care
In a nutshell: a one-day, case-based masterclass that equips front-line primary-care healthcare professionals with the skills, knowledge and clinical governance to deliver best-practice heart-failure management — optimising their patients' health, delivering on QOF (HF009) and finding the missing patients, and developing the team and skill set needed for extended-scope practice and a GPwER portfolio in heart failure. A core unmet need, given the confluence of new UK and international CVRM-HF guidelines, NHS England's cardiovascular framework and the Central East ICB priority on optimising heart-failure management.

2 · A Living Curriculum, and a Living Certificate
Guidance is watched for change: clinician-identified updates and systematic checks of the guideline bodies and journals in our source registry feed one queue. Each change is traced to every lesson, question, case, triangle rating and reference that depends on it, redrafted, checked, and republished once a named clinician has signed it, with the date and the guideline version on the page. Opt in, and a short self-assessment on each update keeps your certificate current.
3 · Clinician-verified, with the AI position stated
Every clinical statement is signed by a named GMC-registered clinician with the date and the guideline version relied on. Nothing reaches a learner unsigned. AI assists the drafting of our material, and no AI decides a mark. We are labelling every surface with one of three classes: deterministic; AI-drafted, clinician-signed; adaptive, formative. No adaptive feature is live today.

The award
Certificate of Advanced Studies awarded by New Vision University, Tbilisi, Georgia; 10 ECTS (20 UK credits); pitched at EQF level 7, equivalent in level to the FHEQ level 7 descriptors. New Vision University is not a UK degree-awarding body; recognition of credit is at the discretion of receiving institutions.
Who signs
Every clinical statement is signed by the Course Director, with the date and the guideline version relied on, before a learner sees it. The signer register, with name and GMC number, is in the Governance section and on the learning platform.
