Three routes through MD Acumen
The platform serves individual clinicians seeking extended-scope competence, NHS commissioners closing capability gaps in their workforce, and university partners seeking ready-to-deliver postgraduate qualifications.
Individual professional development
UK GPs, prescribing pharmacists, advanced clinical practitioners and nurse independent prescribers seeking FHEQ Level 7 credentials in diabetes-cardiorenal-metabolic medicine, menopause and andropause, or clinical headache management.
ICBs & NHS Training Hubs
Integrated Care Boards commissioning extended-scope workforce capability for neighbourhood-level multimorbid care. Cohort-of-thirty PGCert delivery, Capstone audits aligned to local ICB priorities, six-block academic quality-assurance.
International medical school partners
European, Middle Eastern, and Asian medical schools seeking ready-to-deliver FHEQ Level 7 postgraduate programmes with ECTS conformance, NVU UK Campus awarding, and a defensible academic governance dossier.
Three PGCert programmes, one architecture
Each programme is structured as four 15-credit microcredentials at FHEQ Level 7, delivered part-time over 30 weeks with weekly synchronous lectures, SCORM lessons, end-of-week Synoptics, and a Capstone in one of five formats.
DCRM
Diabetes-Cardiorenal-Metabolic Medicine
The interface of type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, heart failure, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease — anchored to NICE NG28, KDIGO 2024, the ESC/EAS 2025 dyslipidaemia focused update, and the DCRM 2.0 framework.
Menopause & Andropause
Hormonal transitions, female and male
Perimenopausal physiology, MHT prescribing, the cardiometabolic-bone-cognitive interface, andropause and male hormonal health — anchored to NICE NG23 (Nov 2024), the BMS HRT Guide, NICE TA1143 (fezolinetant), and the BSSM 2022 testosterone-deficiency framework.
Clinical Headache Management
Migraine, the TACs, and secondary headache
Migraine, the trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias, medication-overuse headache, and red-flag secondary pathways — anchored to NICE CG150, ICHD-3, the IHS 2025 evidence-based guidelines, and the full UK CGRP-era armamentarium (gepants TA871/TA919/TA973, mAbs TA682/TA631/TA659/TA764).
