Guidance moves. Our teaching is re-signed when it does.

Guidance is watched for change; when a cornerstone guideline moves, the affected teaching is reviewed, re-signed and re-dated by a named clinician. Nothing is republished unsigned.

How change is handled

From a change in guidance to a re-signed lesson

Clinician-identified updates and systematic checks of the guideline bodies and journals in our source registry feed one queue; each change is traced to every lesson, question, case, triangle rating and reference that depends on it. The Currency Update log lists each signed change with its date.

Signed

Every clinical statement is signed by a named GMC-registered clinician with the date and the guideline version relied on. A signature expires after twelve months and is renewed when the guideline it relies on changes.

Dated

Every page carries one editorial line with the date of its last review and the date of the next. When a cornerstone guideline changes, the affected page is re-dated.

Logged

The change log below is read from the learning platform, not typed. It shows which programmes hold signed material and when each was last signed.
